Karel Ešpandr
He started his career in the eighties at famous "Hanspaul-City" independent rock music scene as an electric guitar player in groups Vyamhum Quas Group and legendary Hugo Band.
Within the Prague alternative scene he worked with many creative artists like Lumír Tuček (Sklep theatre), Přemysl Faukner, Ondřej Konrád, Petar Introvič (Bluesberry), Jan Šulc (Hemenex), Jan Burian and many others.

As a session guitarist and performing musician he contributed to many single and album recordings, and to live concert performances of popular czech singers and groups (Combo FH, Švehlík, Bára Basiková, Lenka Filipová, Marcela Březinová, Lešek Semelka, Viktor Sodoma).
For the czech superstar Lucie Bílá he composed and produced song Rozvaliny (lyrics by Jan Fischer).
In Slovakia he was known as a member of Marika Gombitová group, and later also with a czech-moravian-slovak group Mandragora.

Karel's first original album East Meets West was recorded for english label Sumo Records, produced by Steve Gresswell, with all vocal parts performed by native british singers.
At that time he was also admitted into British Musician Union, as a first non-UK-resident czech guitar player and author.

Since about 1990 Karel occupies himself mostly with audio (radio) commercials authoring.
In the year 2015 he released his second original album Coming Through.
